Having had significant re-writes the company returned to their Lawrence adaptation for a successful run in Maidenhead. Less sexually graphic than the previous version but with the political content significantly more emphasised.

Cleansed (Norden Farm)

The Picture Of Dorian Gray

Production date: October and November 2008

This was an original musical adaptation of Wilde’s classic novella updated to the modern world of celebrity culture. It is hoped that a re-worked version will be performed in early 2011.

Julius Caesar

Production date: October 2007

Adapted to be played by five people, each playing at least six characters, this was the company’s attempt to recast Shakespeare play as an up to date political thriller whose themes are still relevant to the 21st century.

The Pillowman

Production date: January 2007

Martin McDonagh’s violent black comedy marked the company’s return to the Oakwood Centre in Woodley. The play tells the rather gruesome story of a crime wrier who is arrested when it appears that the murders depicted in his novels are actually happening in real life.
